Beef Jermky
Marinade:
- 1/4 cup Gluten free tamari (or soy sauce). We used Braggs Liquid Amino's, not Paleo friendly because of the soy, but we will be leaving this out next time
- 3 cloves or 2-3 Tablespoons of minced garlic
- 2 Tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce
- 1 Tablespoon of liquid smoke
- 2 Tsp of red pepper flakes (optional, provides quite a kick!)
- 3 cloves or 2-3 Tablespoons of minced garlic
- 2 Tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce
- 1 Tablespoon of liquid smoke
- 2 Tsp of red pepper flakes (optional, provides quite a kick!)
- 2 chili powder
- 1 Tsp sea salt
- 1 Tsp freshly ground pepper
Mix all ingredients together. - 1 Tsp sea salt
- 1 Tsp freshly ground pepper
Instructions:
- 1-2 pounds of London Broil, Bracciolle, or other lean meat. We used top round.
- Cut into thin strips, about 1/4 inch or less. We had the butcher do it and he was not very good. Similar size pieces work best.
- Place in plastic zip-lock bag or tupperware and pour in marinade.
- Mix everyting around so the meat is evenly covered.
- Let sit for 12-24 hours.
If you have a food dehydrator follow it’s instructions. We let ours sit for 8-10 hours.
Keepin it short and sweet for today! Excited to give a Crossfit update soon...it's been kickin my butt (in a good way)!!!
Peach, OUT!!
